2010 SERVICE AGREEMENT (CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITIES)
Personal Items/Litter Removal: Customer is responsible for all personal items (furniture, toys, hoses, pets, etc.). All personal items should be removed from turf and landscape areas prior to your regular scheduled day of service. Woody's Landscape is not responsible for personal items. Any hidden rocks, golf balls, etc. that lay hidden from sight in turf areas may cause damage to customer’s houses and Woody's equipment. Please check your lawn prior to your regular scheduled day of service to remove any and all such items.
Mowing: Lawns will be mowed weekly during growing season. Should you request an "every-other-week" schedule, the cost of your weekly service will be an additional $5.00 per trip. Woody's Landscape recommends mulch mowing for a healthy lawn and to minimize waste in our landfills.
Edging/Trimming: All turf next to curbs, sidewalks, driveways will be edged with each mowing. Trimming turf around buildings, fences and beds will be performed with each mowing. Should your sprinkler system heads be too close to curbs, sidewalks or driveways that they may be easily damaged, please let us know and we will not edge in these areas. Should you have smaller trees or saplings you do not want us to weed-eat around, please inform us or arrange to put wire meshing around such trees or plants.
Weeding of Bedding Areas: Should you request your beds be weeded, let us know whether or not you have herbs (such as catnip, etc.), or other special plants you do not want pulled. Certain plants can easily be mistaken for weeds and if we are not informed otherwise, they will be removed, unless marked by customer.
Irrigation: Do not run irrigation or sprinklers for a least 24-48 hours prior to scheduled mowing days. Irrigation maintenance is not included in this agreement. It is the customers' responsibility to insure all turf sprinkler heads be properly maintained to prevent damage during mowing. Any damage to shrub risers, incurred accidentally while trimming shrubs, will be repaired promptly - report any damages immediately. Woody’s Landscape assumes no responsibility for damage to turf or landscape resulting from lack of, or improper irrigation or drainage. If irrigation maintenance is required, Woody’s Landscape will recommend a licensed irrigation specialist to meet with you to discuss your irrigation needs.
Seasonal Color/Sod: Woody's Landscape offers the finest quality flowers and sod available. Seasonal color and sod are perishable items and are not covered under any warrant or guarantee. We will recommend watering requirements to keep your flowers and sod healthy upon customers’ request.
Customer Concerns: Any complaints/concerns regarding our service and/or work must be brought to our attention within 24 hours of the work performed, otherwise we will assume customer satisfaction and complete the charge as agreed.
Woody's Lawn Maintenance Crews: All jobs will be performed by uniformed professionals, properly trained and supervised. Many laborers do not speak English and all communication should be made through office personnel. Equipment, labor and materials will be supplied by Woody's Landscape in accordance with acceptable horticultural practices. Woody's Landscape will determine the date and time services will be performed. In the event of rain or other inclement weather, Woody's Landscape reserves the right to adjust the schedules accordingly.
